The minor in multiage education at the University of Mount Union provides students with the knowledge to teach a variety of subjects at any level. Students will be able to pair the multiage education minor with any major to round out their education and gain an advantage in the professional world.
The minor in multiage education is administered by the Department of Education which offers major programs in early childhood education, intervention specialist and middle childhood education.

- Students minoring in multiage education will have the opportunity to gain classroom experience by observing and teaching in real-world situations.
- Minors in multiage education also have the opportunity to be placed in a different school through the Chicago Semester Program or at a Native American reservation school.
- Kappa Delta Pi is an international honorary for education majors that promotes excellence in and recognizes outstanding contributions to education. The Department invites students to join the honorary based on academic requirements.
- Student National Education Association is a student-led organization on Mount Union’s campus specifically for education majors and minors.

To meet this need, the University of Mount Union Department of Education's CAEP accredited Teacher Education Program is geared toward preparing teacher candidates and assisting them in obtaining a teaching appointment after graduation.
